Who We Partner With
We accept and process referrals 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Referral sources, prospective patients, or family members may call our intake department to inquire about any aspect of our services or to schedule an assessment.
Hospital systems and community service boards are our most common sources of referrals, but we are happy to work with any type of referring professional.
How the Process Works
When we receive a referral from an outside agency, our team reviews the referral as quickly as possible. Examples of the referral elements to include that will help make the process move smoothly are outlined below.
- Results of any clinical assessments
- Treatment history records
- Records of physicals
- Documentation of prescribed medications
- Insurance information
If these pieces of information are not available, do not let that stop you from contacting us. We can still work with you to coordinate care.
Our team will work closely with you to help determine whether our programming will be a good fit for the adolescent. If we determine that our treatment center in Chantilly is best suited for your patient, we will work directly with them and their family to complete a comprehensive assessment and verify their insurance coverage.
When clinically appropriate, and with the consent of patients and their families, we include referring professionals as part of the development of each patient’s personalized care plan.
